There was a hashtag on twitter asking people to list their 5 perfect movies. Being curious, I wrote a script to find the most common movies in this hashtag because maybe those will be the most perfect movies ever?
I streamed the tweets into a json file, did some text cleaning to retrieve just the movies from the individual tweets, did a count and displayed the results using a wordcount library.
I have still not seen shawshank redemption and Back to the future but I agree with Dark Knight, Parasite and Star Wars. A longer list is below:
